Yellow Lights is hands down the best music school in Thane. The vibe here is super warm and welcoming, so even if you’re just starting out, you instantly feel comfortable. The teachers are actual musicians with tons of real-world experience, which makes the classes so much more fun and practical. I love that you can learn guitar, piano, drums, and western vocals all in one place. Plus, the soundproof rooms make a big difference—you can really hear and enjoy the music while learning.

The teachers are very friendly and always make sure you understand everything properly. I’ve already completed 2 Trinity grades in guitar with their guidance, and it really boosted my confidence!"

About Us

Founded in 2018, Yellow Lights School of Performing Arts began with a simple yet powerful vision — to create a space where creativity thrives and artistry takes centre stage. We go beyond technique, focusing on nurturing the soul of a performer through thoughtfully crafted, results-driven curricula designed by seasoned educators.

Our mission is to shape not just skilled performers, but well-rounded, culturally-aware artists. By immersing students in diverse styles of world music, we help them discover their unique voice while fostering the spirit of collaboration through musicianship and accompaniment.

At Yellow Lights, we believe that artistic exposure is as vital as academic growth. Each student carries the torch of creativity, becoming part of a growing community that celebrates expression, innovation, and purpose.

We are not just teaching art — we’re building a culture of passion and possibility, one artist at a time.

I first started seeing life as a musician when I was 18. That’s when I began my journey of learning music. Before I knew it, music was my way of doing life.

A math geek at heart and an engineer by education, I quickly drew the connection between numbers and sound. Metal music grew on me, odd-time signatures became my jam and I found my style in progressive and math rock. Knee-deep into exploring my style, I realised that there wasn’t much awareness about global styles of music; I had signed up for a DIY project.

Then, no wonder that while world music had found its niche, it was limited to just that – a niche. Nothing more than an acquired taste. To my musician ears, something felt off; how was such good music not drawing more ears?

To me, it was only a matter of expanding your listening range. I realised that a lot of us, given the opportunity, would enjoy more genres beyond popular music. This hypothesis led to Yellow Lights being born. By adding 800+ music enthusiasts to the scene, I’m thrilled to inform you that it is people like you who have proven my hypothesis true.

Yellow Lights School of Performing Arts is my earnest attempt at creating a culture of musicianship, one that passes the baton from curiosity to craft, from passion to purpose. A mere nudge in the direction of turning technical music commercial. I truly hope you’ll join us on this ride.

With my ears wide open,
Sincerely,
Aditya Bhosale
